Bob Niemi, CMB

MBA's Florida Ambassador    

Bob is the director of government affairs at Weiner Brodsky & Kider. He has been a model of MBA engagement over many years. He is a former long time board member and Ohio MBA Executive Director, Deputy Superintendent for the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions, and a former NMLS Ombudsman. Since moving to Florida in 2020, Bob immediately became engaged in the MBA of Florida and is on their Board of Directors and Legislative Committee and is also the Co-Chair of their state CMB society. Bob is also the Vice Chair for the national Certified Mortgage Banker Society. Bob is a regular attendee at numerous MBA conferences, including the Annual Convention, State and Local Workshop, National Advocacy Conference, Legal Issues Conference, and Regulatory Compliance Conference. He often speaks on behalf of MBA and is deeply engaged in helping MAA and MORPAC. Bob is also a member of the MBA State Legislative and Regulatory Committee and the MBA Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Committee. Currently, Bob is co-leader of the WBK’s state licensing team and the Chair of the American Association of Residential Mortgage Regulators’ Industry Advisory Council.
