Turn up the heat with Advocacy in August!

Advocacy is turning up the heat - join us! Advocacy in August is an important political engagement strategy for advocacy priorities. Participation in these meetings allows us to build and strengthen existing relationships during the Congressional August Recess (August 1 through September 1). MBA’s Legislative Affairs team will once again coordinate in-person and virtual meetings in the elected officials’ home states or districts. It's time to get involved:

• Join the conversation.
• Follow MAA on LinkedIn and Facebook to get connected with your fellow MAA members, stay up to date on timely MAA Calls to Action, register for webinars, and find ways to engage with your industry peers at events. 
• Respond to Open Call to Action Alerts  to speak directly with your elected officials about the industry impact of proposed legislation or regulations.
• Our new Election Center provides voting information on key elections in your state or district
• Run a Company Campaign to help boost MAA membership and increase participation. We provide company captains sample communications making this an easy copy and paste for you and your designated staff.
