Mortgage Banking Bound
MBA is shaping the future of mortgage banking with the launch of Mortgage Banking Bound, a program designed to attract and nurture the next generation of industry professionals. Through strategic partnerships with top colleges and universities, MBA is
ensuring that graduates are not only prepared but primed to make a real impact from their first day on the job. With hands-on training and industry-specific insights, these emerging professionals will be ready to contribute to your organization immediately.
The program offers three unique variations, each tailored to address the evolving needs of today’s mortgage landscape.
100-Hour Executive Certificate Program
This program is designed for individuals who are already in the workforce and may be looking for a career change, or those that are in school and near graduation. Students who complete this course will be exposed to the entire residential loan lifecycle, the rules and regulations that govern our industry, the ethical standards that industry professionals are expected to adhere to, and the technology platforms that drive our industry forward.
Stackable Certificates
Colleges and universities can offer the Level I certificate programs for the Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU), Residential Certified Mortgage Servicer (RCMS), and Certified Mortgage Compliance Professional (CMCP) to undergraduate or graduate students. Students can take this coursework in addition to the four-credit hours to be more proficient and job-ready in these specific areas.
Accredited Undergraduate Courses
MBA has partnered with Cleveland State University to offer a three-credit hour undergraduate course on residential loan origination and processing. This course will be offered in the spring 2025 semester as an elective in the business school and will be the first undergraduate course exclusively focused on residential mortgage lending.
