MBA Statement on the Announcement of Alanna McCargo to be President of Ginnie Mae

WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 13, 2021) - Statement from Robert D. Broeksmit, CMB, President and CEO of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), on the announcement that President Joe Biden intends to nominate Alanna McCargo to be President of the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae):

"MBA applauds the decision to nominate Alanna McCargo to be President of Ginnie Mae. Ginnie Mae is a critically important agency in our housing finance system, and Alanna has a deep understanding of the agency and a demonstrated track record of working with industry, government, and housing advocates on key housing policy issues.
