West Beibers is the Chief Executive Officer of The Commonwealth Group Companies. The Commonwealth Group is a consulting and fulfillment service for the Banking and Mortgage Industries specializing in Underwriting, Processing, Compliance, Quality Control, and Technology Services. Beibers is a 38-year veteran of the mortgage industry and has served in a variety of capacities including production, underwriting, quality control, compliance, servicing, and portfolio analysis. He is noted for his expertise in areas such as credit policy, fair lending, and the Community Reinvestment Act and is considered a subject matter expert for litigation involving mortgage lending. Beibers is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association at the state and national levels and has spoken at many state, regional, and national conferences related to mortgage lending. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis and holds the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB), Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP), and the Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) designations from the Mortgage Bankers Association.
