Patrick McNerney

Patrick is the president and visionary behind the design, construction, and development firm, Martin Building Company. Since founding the company in 1989, he has applied his over 40 years of professional design-build experience and passion for outstanding design and construction to develop new and historically significant buildings in San Francisco, including new construction multifamily properties, low-income housing (supported by tax credits and tax-exempt housing bonds), commercial, retail, childcare, community-use spaces, a public pedestrian plaza, and historic rehabilitation projects. Among his notable developments is Mint Plaza, a privately-funded street-to-plaza conversion in San Francisco. Patrick serves on Drew School’s Board of Trustees and as board President of Urban Preservation Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting neighborhood revitalization through urban renewal, preservation and management.
