Gretchen Rowe

Gretchen Rowe is the Vice President of Project Review for Newrez. She has been with Newrez for 15 years and has more than 20 years of project review experience in condominium evaluation and risk management. Rowe manages a team of project review analysts who determine the risk of lending in condo and co-op projects for both warrantable and non-warrantable loan products for retail, wholesale and correspondent lending channels at Newrez. Her responsibilities include development and administration of operational workflows for the project review team, and collaboration with and advisement on project review matters as it relates to Credit Policy, Capital Markets and Servicing. She has a depth of understanding of project characteristics that require early evaluation in the review process including unique regional condo lending challenges of different areas of the country. She is particularly interested in ways to offset risk in projects, to find solutions when challenges arise, and to assist borrowers on the path to homeownership.
