Greg Young

Greg Young is the Director of the Counterparty Risk Analysis Division at Ginnie Mae. In this capacity, he leads counterparty risk analysis and develops counterparty policies. Prior to joining Ginnie Mae, Young was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs with a focus on risk management. Over twenty-four years at Goldman, he served as Chief Risk Officer of the Goldman Sachs Bank, head of counterparty risk in Asia, and Global head of Hedge Fund counterparty risk. Prior to joining Goldman, Young was a commissioned officer in the United States Army. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
