Naa Awaa Tagoe is Deputy Director for the Division of Housing Mission and Goals at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). She is responsible for oversight of Enterprises’ single-family and multifamily housing policies and programs for mortgage acquisitions, mortgage servicing and default asset management. She is also responsible for oversight of the Enterprises’ regulatory capital policy, and the Enterprises’ and Federal Home Loan Banks’ affordable housing mission activities including the Enterprises’ housing goals and Duty to Serve requirements, and the Federal Home Loan Banks’ community and economic development programs. Previously, Naa Awaa led the Office of Capital Policy at FHFA responsible for developing regulatory capital policy for the Enterprises’ and providing oversight of their credit risk transfer programs and financial eligibility requirements for mortgage insurers, mortgage sellers, and mortgage servicers. Prior to joining the predecessor agency of FHFA in 2003, Naa Awaa held positions in financial services and management consulting. She earned her bachelor’s degree and MBA from Stanford University.
