Pete Mills is Senior Vice President of Residential Policy and Member Engagement at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). In this position, he leads MBA's residential policy team and state and local advocacy program, and directs MBA's residential member engagement efforts across the MBA value platform. Mills is an experienced financial services industry executive with more than 30 years of expertise in public affairs, government relations, public policy and research, all in the housing and mortgage finance arena. Prior to joining MBA, he served as Managing Director and co-founder of the Community Mortgage Banking Project, a public policy organization that represented the interests of companies and coalitions involved in the housing and mortgage finance industries. During his career, Mills lead corporate public affairs for Countrywide Financial, managed trade association policy advocacy for the California Mortgage Bankers Association and the California Association of Realtors, and conducted housing policy research at the Federal Reserve Board. He has a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated with distinction in 1982.

Devang Doshi is Fannie Mae’s Senior Vice President – Capital Markets, reporting to the Executive Vice President – Single-Family Business. Doshi manages Fannie Mae’s Capital Markets Pricing and Sales Desk, the Credit Risk Transfer program (CAS and CIRT), Structured Transactions, and the Conduit. His teams are responsible for providing liquidity to lenders and the broader capital markets by establishing and implementing credit pricing terms, executing strategies to transfer credit risk associated with Fannie Mae’s Single-Family guaranty business, trading and resecuritizing mortgage-backed securities (MBS) with capital markets participants, purchasing and subsequently securitizing whole loans, and purchasing pools and whole loans using early funding options. Doshi also oversees Fannie Mae’s Securitization Policy team, which ensures proper administration of matters related to the strategic and business value of Fannie Mae securities. In addition, Doshi manages the Investor Engagement and Advocacy team, which develops strategies on how to promote Fannie Mae’s offerings while regularly engaging and educating our investor customers and the Capital Markets Products and Solutions team, which focuses on modernizing our technological capabilities in support of business outcomes. Previously, Doshi was Vice President – Agency Mortgage Investments at AGNC Investment Corporation (ticker: AGNC) where he worked on the Agency MBS portfolio. Prior to joining AGNC in 2012, Doshi was Vice President of Securitized Products at Citigroup, where he focused on MBS pass thru securities (TBA), the specified pool market, and the collateralized mortgage market (CMOs). Doshi has a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University.
Sonu Mittal is the Senior Vice President and Head of the Freddie Mac Single-Family Acquisitions Division. He is responsible for seller engagement, credit, products and affordable mission goals, as well as the operations and technology functions that support these activities. He is a member of Freddie Mac’s senior operating committee. Mr. Mittal brings more than two decades of leadership experience in virtually every aspect of mortgage lending. He comes to Freddie Mac from Citizens, where he served as President of Home Mortgage, executive vice president of Home Lending and head of Retail Mortgage, among other key roles. Prior to Citizens, he spent 18 years in the Washington, D.C., area at Capital One and Chevy Chase Bank, working in mortgage production, consumer sales and other areas. He has extensive experience across sales, operations, capital markets, strategy, analytics, product management and technology. Mr. Mittal holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the George Washington University School of Business.
