About the Event
The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Commercial and Multifamily Standard Inspection Form is a vital tool for overseeing the physical condition of commercial/multifamily real estate. An integral part of the annual inspections for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicers, Fannie Mae is now requiring that originating lenders complete the form and submit the form within 45 days of Fannie’s Mae’s acquisition of the loan.
Join MBA Education and Fannie Mae originators and consultants for detailed guidance on how to complete the form. Participants will learn the form components, practice assessing a property condition and determine the Fannie Mae rating using a case study, identify the property’s potential risks, and ensure compliance with Fannie Mae guidelines. This workshop requires pre-work, review of the case study property condition report, and will ask participants to work with the instructors during the workshop to conclude the property condition and ratings. The instructors will complete the MBA inspection form during this workshop
