Associate Director, Conference Programming, Mortgage Bankers Association

With over 30 years of experience in event management and conference programming, Dennis Carey currently serves as the Associate Director of Conference Program Management for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). In this role, he works with MBA members and subject matter experts on the program for MBA’s member conferences, ensuring that each event supports the association’s mission, delivers relevant and impactful content, and enhances member engagement. Before joining MBA, Carey was chief of staff at FatBrain AI, where he managed business operations. Earlier in his career, he served as the Director of Conferences and Events for Freddie Mac’s Multifamily Division, where he successfully managed a large portfolio of conferences, meetings, and events that fostered customer relationships and drove business growth. His expertise spans program development and execution, customer/member relationship building, and stakeholder engagement.
