Sean R. Grzebin

Sean Grzebin is head of Home Lending Consumer Originations at Chase. He manages all mortgage origination activity, including sales, operations, underwriting and transformation, across the company’s retail channel. Chase’s Home Lending business is ranked No. 1 in primary servicing and No. 3 in retail originations. Sean joined Chase in August 2011, previously leading Home Lending’s Default Servicing business and later the Retail originations channel. Sean has more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, with an extensive background in centralized fulfillment and technology. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Avelo Mortgage, a wholly-owned subsidy of Goldman Sachs, where he was responsible for the loan acquisition platform and served as co-head of the Residential Asset Management business. Sean earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Holy Family University. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife, two daughters and two sons.
