Kevin Reen is executive vice president and head of Wells Fargo Home Lending. In this role, Reen leads thousands of mortgage professionals in sales, operations, servicing, capital markets, portfolio management, risk management, and supporting functions. A financial services professional with more than 15 years of experience at large, complex financial institutions across a diverse set of consumer and wholesale products, Kevin most recently served as chief risk officer for Wells Fargo’s Consumer Lending division. In this role, Kevin was responsible for overseeing and challenging front-line risk activities across Wells Fargo’s Consumer Lending lines of business, enhancing the effectiveness of independent risk management (IRM) oversight, creating streamlined IRM interaction with Consumer Lending, and maintaining a comprehensive view of risks across Consumer Lending. Kevin joined Wells Fargo in August 2020 from JPMorgan Chase, where he was chief credit and risk officer for Credit Cards. During his time at JPMorgan Chase, he held a variety of executive roles including chief credit and risk officer for Auto and Student Loans, head of credit risk forecasting, chief operating officer of Chase Risk, CCAR stress test executive, and Chase Financial Planning & Analysis executive. Previously, he was the chief financial officer of the retail segment for Bank of America. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Notre Dame, with a double major in accounting and anthropology. He is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
