David Gansberg

David Gansberg is the CEO of the Global Mortgage Group (Arch MI) of Arch Capital Group Ltd. Arch MI is the only globally diversified insurer of mortgage credit risk, with insurance, reinsurance and capital markets operations in the United States, Bermuda, Australia, Europe, and Hong Kong. Mr. Gansberg previously served as the President and CEO of Arch Mortgage Insurance Company, where he led the efforts to launch Arch MI as a GSE-eligible private mortgage insurer through the acquisition of CMG MI and certain assets of PMI Mortgage Insurance Company. He later led the integration of Arch’s acquisition of United Guaranty, which established Arch MI as a leading private mortgage insurance company. Prior to Arch MI, he held various underwriting, operational and strategic roles at Arch Reinsurance Company, Arch Capital Services, LLC, and Arch Reinsurance Ltd., which he joined in December 2001. He serves on the board of directors of Coface SA, a France headquartered trade credit insurer that operates worldwide. He holds a B.S. in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Michigan, and he is a candidate to receive his MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in May 2024.
