Freddie Mac Construction-to-Permanent Guidelines examines Freddie Mac's guidelines for converting interim construction financing to permanent loans. The course begins with an introduction to Freddie Mac's construction conversion and renovation mortgages, including features and eligibility requirements. Underwriting guidelines unique to the construction-to-permanent loan process are then presented, including the calculation of the loan-to-value ratio, the calculation of construction costs, completion status and escrow holdbacks, and special documentation requirements. Finally, the course addresses data entry and resubmission requirements.
