Rick Hill

Vice President, Industry Technology, Mortgage Bankers Association

Rick Hill is the Vice President of Industry Technology at the Mortgage Bankers Association. He is responsible for managing MBA’s technology initiatives within the real estate finance industry, managing MBA’s technology committees, and developing technology content for MBA conferences and events. Before joining MBA, Hill was the Director of Data Strategy at Fannie Mae, where he was responsible for data standards and best practices, data management including the company's data warehouse, and managing the relationship with regulatory agencies relating to information requirements. Hill began his career as a senior auditor at Deloitte, after earning his B.B.A. in accounting from The College of William and Mary. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Chetan (Che) Bhatia

Managing Director of Cyber Resilience and Engagement Management, Stroz Friedberg, an Aon company

Chetan Bhatia is a Managing Director of Cyber Resilience and Engagement Management within Aon Cyber Solutions Global practice (formerly StrozFriedberg). In this role he is responsible for helping clients all over the world proactively manage cyber and enterprise risk and leads digital forensics, cybercrime, data breach, financial crime, compliance, electronic discovery and business intelligence and investigations matters. Prior to joining Aon in 2017 Chetan served as the Chief Technology Officer at Data Partner, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the organization. He was also a Cyber-Security Consultant for Advance Resources and Consultants, a firm made up of former senior-level government and military officers, where he conducted cyber security risk assessments for organizations awarded federal government contracts. He also worked for Nexum, where he served in a variety of roles such as Business Development Director and Practice Manager and was responsible for the project management and network/security engineering teams. Before joining Nexum, he worked at Hewitt Associates and Aon, where he deployed and administered security controls and was part of a team that maintained the network security infrastructure protecting the PII of over 75% of the Fortune 500 organizations. Chetan serves as a Professor at Washington University in St. Louis where he is also a Member-at-Large on the Cybersecurity Education Advisory Board for Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Chetan also serves as faculty at Marquette University in Milwaukee and Loyola University in Chicago where he served as one of the founders of the Cybersecurity Technology Management Certificate. He has successfully mentored students to complete in the National Cyber League and the National Collegiate Cyber Defense competitions. Chetan is often invited by the FBI and US Secret Service to provide executive debriefings on cyber and other investigative matters. Chetan (Che) Bhatia earned a Master’s in Business Administration and Master’s in Project Management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s in Network and Communications degree from DeVry University. Chetan also earned a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Executive Certificate from Carnegie Mellon Heinz College and CERT Division of Software Engineering Institute and is a graduate of the Asian Executive Leadership Program at McKinsey Executive Leadership.

John Carr

Director-Information Security, Rocket Mortgage, LLC

John Carr has been with Rocket Companies since 2007 as a security architect, manager, and director of Information Security, specializing in all thing's tech and risk. John has been in the IT and Security industry for over 30 years acting as a consultant, auditor, engineer, integrator, architect, and leader. At Rocket Companies, John has worn the hats of leading the Engineering, SOC, Architect, Offensive Security, and Awareness teams, making sure that all 15,000 team members are Doing the Right Thing, simultaneously keeping hackers out and the clients safe. Perpetually carrying the flag of “options before obstacles,” he builds his practice based on making things move as fast as possible for the business and keeping security transparent to everyone.
