Joseph Culver

Joseph Culver is the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the New York Mortgage Bankers Association, representing over 100 Residential Mortgage Banking Lender and Non-Lender members throughout the state. He previously spent 40 years in senior management at several New York and New England regional banks, including the last 18 years with NBT Bank as Senior Vice President and Director of Home Lending Sales. Culver has been deeply involved in the New York Capital Region and a long-term supporter of the Arts community. He was a Founding Member and on the Board of Directors of Albany’s Larkfest, the NFL Alumni Upstate New York Chapter, and the Albany Chef’s Food and Wine Festival. He was also a Founding Member and on the Board of Directors of the New York Mortgage Bankers Association, starting his role as Executive Director in January 2024.
