Tim Rood
Tim Rood is the founder and CEO of Impact Capitol, leading a seasoned team of former housing agency and enterprise professionals. The firm advises industry executives and federal officials on real estate and real estate finance regulations and policy. Impact Capitol has developed ALFReD, the market’s most comprehensive real estate intelligence platform, and is expanding ALFReD’s applications to include agentic functionalities, enhancing process efficiencies and productivity. Rood brings three decades of mortgage industry and entrepreneurial experience to Impact Capitol.
Rood is the former Head of Government & Industry Relations for SitusAMC and previously was the Chairman of The Collingwood Group, which he co-founded in 2009 with several Presidential appointees, including former Deputy Secretary and FHA Commissioner Brian Montgomery. Collingwood was acquired by Situs in 2017 and later merged with AMC to create - SitusAMC. His primary focus has been in the government and financial services sector offering advisory and professional and risk management solutions.
Rood is a former Fannie Mae executive and a sought-after contributor to various national media outlets, including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, FOX Business News, Washington Post, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and American Banker.
