Patrick serves as VP of Compliance & Industry Relations for Assurant, the industry’s leading provider of lender-placed insurance and related outsourcing services. Patrick’s team monitors legislation and rule-making that occurs at a Federal, State or Investor/GSE level and leads Assurant’s response to new laws and regulations. Patrick works closely with many industry trade groups and committees to advocate on behalf of stakeholder interests and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Flood Association. Prior to joining Assurant, Patrick worked for nine years at Fannie Mae in Washington D.C. in both Credit Policy, and Audit and began his business career in banking as an internal auditor. Patrick holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

Scott Giberson serves as Principal of Flood Compliance and Product Strategy and manages the Flood Disaster Protection Act program for CoreLogic Flood Services. Scott currently serves on the Board of the National Flood Association, leads the Association’s legislative committee, and previously served as its Vice President. Scott is serving as a Council Member on the Technical Mapping Advisory Council which reports to FEMA and was established by Congress with Biggert Waters legislation that passed in 2012. With over 25 years of experience, Scott specializes in regulatory issues surrounding flood determinations, the mandatory purchase of flood insurance requirement, as well as policy related to the National Flood Insurance Program and developing climate risk requirements. He consults with industry members and members of related industries on legislative and regulatory developments at a federal and state level related to flood insurance and climate risk. In his role, Scott frequently presents at various conferences, seminars and workshops on topics related to flood insurance requirements and flood mapping issues. He also speaks on matters related to claims or actions arising out of the flood determination guarantees and has contributed to the research around this body of law. Scott graduated from The University of Texas at Austin.
Sacha Rosenthal leads the Servicing Portfolio Analytics department for the Single-Family Portfolio and Servicing Division. He is accountable for developing strategies and analytics related to portfolio management, loss mitigation, distressed collateral liquidation, natural disasters and climate change, servicing policy, non-performing loan and re-performing loan transaction support as well as analytics to support Servicer relationship management. He is also responsible for servicing data, business intelligence applications and the Servicer Performance Profile. Since 2001, Mr. Rosenthal’s Freddie Mac experience has encompassed several roles spanning both the Investment and Capital Markets Division and the Single-Family Divisions, including structured transactions, servicing capital markets, relationship management and portfolio management. Mr. Rosenthal holds a BSc in biochemistry from the University of Bristol, UK.
Heather Wright helps a broad variety of clients identify operational risks and determine business solutions to mitigate those risks, with a particular focus on advising clients about risk management through insurance. She provides regulatory and compliance advice to lenders regarding compliance with, and alleged violations of, security agreements and other contracts in matters involving property insurance and flood insurance. In addition, she represents commercial property owners and managers, as well as real estate developers and general contractors, in the negotiation of insurance provisions in sales contracts, debt service agreements, leases, management agreements and construction contracts.
