George Gallagher is Senior Leader - Principal for CoreLogic’s Climate Risk & Natural Hazard Solutions team, focused on Federal Government, Capital Markets, lending and loan servicing clients. Gallagher serves as Education Co-Chair for the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization’s (MISMO’s) ESG Community of Practice (CoP) as well as the Structured Finance Association (SFA) ESG Benchmarking Committee for MBS Policy. He was named a “HousingWire Insider 2023” for his industry work supporting climate education. Gallagher joined CoreLogic in February 2012, bringing an extensive background in commercial & corporate real estate data and technology platforms, as well as commercial development & asset management experience.
Ben Madick is the co-founder and CEO of Matic, one of the fastest-growing insurance agencies in the U.S. and the leader in the mobile and online delivery of homeowner’s insurance. The company provides firm, bindable quotes in seconds from highly rated insurance carriers—expediting the process of closing a mortgage loan. Before launching Matic, Ben founded Mortgage Quality Management and Research (MQMR), an independent risk management consulting firm to the mortgage industry. Ben was the company’s past president/CEO, and currently serves as an advisor. Ben has also founded HQ Vendor Management and was president of Subsequent QC, a provider of mortgage servicing audits. Ben began his career working with global financial markets and institutions in London, England. He spent five years as a correspondent lending executive at Bank of America, where he managed relationships with large independent mortgage lenders. He currently serves on the advisory board of Mortgage Compliance Magazine and as an advisor to numerous U.S. mortgage banks and lenders. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Arizona.
Jose Perez is Executive Vice President of OSC, a specialty broker and program administrator for financial institution programs. OSC is a division of Steamboat Group, a leading national insurance brokerage and program underwriter. Perez has served in this capacity since 2009. Prior to joining OSC, he was the President and CEO of Financial Insurance Brokers, Inc., which merged with OCS in November of 2009. As a proven business leader and skilled executive with 30 years of experience, he has a successful track record of developing business strategies and insurance programs for financial institutions and real estate investors.
Greg Tuttle is senior vice president and product line executive, leading Assurant’s Global Housing lender-placed insurance and loss draft businesses. In this role, Tuttle sets the vision for those businesses, oversees the achievement of their strategic objectives, and is responsible for their ongoing performance. He joined the Global Housing business team in 2018 as vice president and product management leader responsible for the daily management of the lender-placed insurance product. Prior to 2018, Greg served as vice president and practice counsel at Aon, plc, providing legal direction and leadership for Aon’s Consumer Affinity businesses. Before joining Aon, he served as lead counsel in Assurant’s legal group, supplying legal guidance and support to Assurant’s lender-placed insurance and flood insurance businesses. Tuttle received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge.
