Laura Hopkins is the Vice President of Membership at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) in Washington, DC, where she currently oversees the MBA's Membership department. With a focus on developing, strengthening, and managing relationships with senior executives and their teams at member companies, Laura’s team maximizes the value of MBA membership and engagement. Dedicated to serving, enhancing, and fortifying all aspects of MBA member engagement within both the association and the industry at large.
Having joined the MBA over seven years ago, Laura has nearly two decades of sales and management expertise in the mortgage banking sector. Her diverse background includes positions in sales and marketing, with a particular emphasis on expanding business platforms through strategic recruiting efforts and influencing program and product utilization to drive revenue growth.
Laura has an unwavering commitment to providing exemplary service and support to both members and colleagues alike. She actively engages with various industry issues and developments, demonstrating her dedication to staying informed and involved in shaping the future of mortgage banking. Laura's passion for fostering diversity and inclusion is evident through her participation in mPower since its inception, as she fervently believes in the advancement of women in the industry.
Hopkins holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Management and Marketing from Florida State University.
