Jonelle Faal

Jonelle Faal has provided leadership and strategic guidance to the commercial real estate finance industry for over 20 years. In her current role as Senior Vice President of Credit Analytics at Situs AMC, she oversees a $1.5 billion portfolio of structured loan assets and serves as a strategic business partner to institutional clients in private equity. She is also a Professor of Real Estate in the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University where she teaches and mentors the next generation of CRE professionals.
Prior to joining Situs AMC, Jonelle held senior asset management roles at Greystone Servicing, Inc. where she oversaw a specialized portfolio of affordable housing loan assets, and later joined their Portfolio Lending Group to provide guidance on warehouse lending and CLO management. She also served as an Asset Manager to the structured debt portfolio at Arbor Realty Trust, amongst other private consulting roles.

Alongside her career, Jonelle is passionate about higher education and stays active in the business and civic communities of greater Atlanta. In addition to teaching at Georgia State University, she serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Visitors at Georgia Gwinnett College, is an academic contributor to the Institute of Real Estate Management and served on the Lanier Education Foundation Board of Trustees.

Jonelle earned a specialized Master’s degree in Commercial Real Estate from Georgia State University and also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance. In 2011, she was awarded recognition as the University System of Georgia Outstanding Scholar via joint resolution by the Georgia Senate and House of Representatives.
