Reid F. Herlihy provides regulatory and transactional advice for clients on a range of issues involving state and federal consumer finance laws. Reid counsels mortgage companies, servicers, consumer finance companies, financial institutions, investment banks, debt collectors, and secondary-market investors on state and federal regulatory compliance issues. Reid regularly counsels clients on issues regarding the CFPB's Mortgage Servicing Rules, advertising, fair debt collection, lending and servicing disclosures, loss mitigation, foreclosure procedures, and business practices. He also assists clients with state and federal examination issues and regulatory actions.
Jonathan Kolodziej represents all types of consumer financial service providers in regulatory compliance, examination and enforcement matters. Through this work, he has assisted bank and non-bank mortgage servicers, mortgage originators, debt collectors, depository institutions, credit card issuers, small dollar lenders, reverse mortgage companies, investment firms, and various industry trade associations. Kolodziej's regulatory compliance practice centers around helping clients ensure that their operations are in compliance with applicable federal and state consumer financial laws. In this role, he helps clients assess the impact of new rules and regulations and adapt to changes in the regulatory environment.
Karin Lockovitch, a Treliant Senior Managing Director, Regulatory Compliance and Mortgage, is a 25-year banking and financial services executive, having held Chief Credit, Chief Compliance and Chief Risk Officer at a number of financial institutions. At Treliant, she leads the Risk, Compliance, Mortgage and Operations practice.
Ms. Marissa M. Yaker, Esq. is the Deputy General Counsel, Regulatory Affairs for Padgett Law Group (PLG). Marissa’s practice is primarily focused on assisting Clients with compliance and interpreting agency regulations/servicing handbooks. Marissa has a passion for agency related servicing and has conducted numerous onsite trainings, participated on conference panels, led digital webinars, and authored numerous articles related to the oversight and servicing of loans. She is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Loan Administration Committee; Former Interim-Chair of Legal League’s Special Working Initiatives Group and Former Vice-Chair of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee.
