Tara Healy, CMB, is currently serving as Chief Compliance Officer at Lennar Mortgage. She brings over two decades of expertise in originations, operations management, and compliance. Before joining Lennar Mortgage, Healy spent 8 years at Cherry Creek Mortgage as Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to this, she spent 15 years at LenderLive, culminating in her role as Director of Corporate Compliance. A dedicated advocate for the mortgage banking industry, Healy has held significant leadership roles, including past President of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association (CMLA) Board of Directors. She currently serves as a Board of Governor for the CMLA and Chair of the CMLA Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee (LARAC). She is the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) CO State Ambassador and previously chaired the MBA State Legislative and Regulatory Committee. Tara actively participates in MBA conferences, contributing to the industry's dialogue at events such as the Annual Convention, State and Local Workshop, National Advocacy Conference, and Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Conference. Tara obtained her CMB in 2018.

Liz Facemire is the Director of State Government Affairs at MBA and takes part in leading the association’s policy and advocacy engagement at the state and local level, which includes serving as primary staff to the association’s State Legislative and Regulatory Committee. Prior to joining MBA in 2023, Liz spent her career in the industry in a variety of roles, including as a licensed mortgage loan originator and underwriter. In 2018 she served as a state policy lobbyist mostly covering Northwestern states. In 2021, she moved into a specialized role in mortgage policy supporting MBA membership priorities and advocacy efforts externally. She has been a member of many of our state MBA counterparts and has assisted in driving MBA’s policy initiatives throughout her time in Government Affairs.

James Fulgenzi serves as the Director of Government Affairs & Advocacy at Proof (formerly Notarize), where he leads efforts to shape policies that prioritize consumer safety and the future of digital commerce. From pioneering online notarization to launching a comprehensive identity authorization network, Proof secures transactions across auto, financial services, healthcare, housing, and more. Proof powers Notarize, the largest network of online notaries available remotely in real-time, 24/7. James has dedicated his career to working with companies and organizations at the intersection of technology and public policy. He is based in Washington, D.C. and regularly travels to state capitals across the country.

Angela Mahfouz is a Director of State Government Affairs at Rocket Companies where she advocates for good policy in mortgage banking. Previously, she spent over four years with the Rocket Community Fund, leading national initiatives that engaged team members in community-driven projects. She later served as Assistant Director for Philanthropy at the Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA), strengthening relationships with individual donors. Mahfouz holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in organizational communications and public relations from Wayne State University. She has also completed Organizational Behavior programs in China and Italy and earned two consulting certificates from Harvard’s College of Continuing Education. Throughout her career, Angela has excelled in relationship-building, strategic communications, and decision-making to drive meaningful impact.

Joshua Weinberg is a nationally recognized speaker, author, consultant, and leader in the mortgage industry. He is the President of Firstline Compliance (www.firstlinecompliance.com), a consulting company specializing in mortgage compliance and technology. He works closely with Federal and State Regulators and participates with many industry associations. He is currently Vice Chair of MBA's State Regulatory Compliance Committee, leads MBA’s LEP Working Group, and is the past Chair of MBA’s Regulatory Compliance Committee, a member of ABA’s Residential Markets Committee, and Past Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for MISMO.
