Alisha Sears is Director and Regulatory Counsel in the Residential Policy and Strategic Industry Engagement Department at the Mortgage Bankers Association. Sears covers legal issues, trends in litigation, and regulatory compliance matters, and staffs the Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Committee and the Regulatory Compliance Subcommittee. Prior to joining the MBA, Sears was with the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS). Sears is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association’s Banking Law Committee, and Women in Housing and Finance.

Jackie Mohr is VP, Assistant General Counsel at Zillow, where she spearheads legal support for Zillow’s real estate focused business lines including, Zillow Home Loans, Spruce Title, Rentals and Zillow’s For Sale products and services. She also focuses on Zillow’s industry affairs with MLS and brokerages and affiliate programs. Jackie has over 20 years’ experience in consumer financial services and real estate industry. Prior to Zillow, she served as SVP, and Associate General Counsel at loanDepot, leading the mortgage origination team, real estate joint ventures and provided legal support for the mellohome business line. Before loanDepot, Jackie was General Counsel of a regional lender and has served as real estate development and finance counsel in both in-house and law firm settings. Jackie specializes in leading companies in highly regulated and complex operational environments, with a heavy focus on guiding affiliated businesses through the RESPA landscape and navigating regulated real estate brokerage operations. She went to law school at Loyola University of Chicago and currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona, where she enjoys the flexibility of Zillow's fully remote work experience. With her extensive background and deep understanding of the industry, Jackie brings invaluable insights and is committed to driving excellence in the real estate sector.
Tim is a Partner with Weiner Brodsky Kider PC. He represents companies in the financial services and mortgage industries nationwide in federal and state litigation and government investigations.
