Gaffney is the General Counsel of Hometap Equity Partners, LLC, a leading originator and servicer of home equity investments. Gaffney has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry across a range of verticals. Prior to joining Hometap in 2023, Gaffney held senior roles at American Express and was the general counsel of Banyan, a marketing technology firm. In his current role, Gaffney oversees all aspects of Hometap's legal and compliance function, including government affairs and regulatory relations. Gaffney is also a board member of the Coalition for Home Equity Partnership, a trade organization dedicated to advancing clear regulation and industry best practices for shared equity products.

Goodman provides financial services clients with advice that pertains to every stage of the business life cycle – from formation to enforcement. She provides strategic licensing and regulatory guidance to emerging companies and private investors to identify and secure the regulatory approvals necessary to achieve operational goals. She has extensive experience advising state-licensed companies and private equity investors on regulatory considerations related to mergers and acquisitions. Goodman also advises banks, consumer and commercial lenders, and fintech companies on state and federal compliance requirements. In addition, Goodman represents clients in a wide range of matters before state and federal regulators, including government investigations and enforcement actions brought by state banking agencies, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Department of Justice.

McPheeters is a commercial leader with more than a decade of experience in the housing finance market. Currently, McPheeters leads business development for Point Digital Finance, the leading Home Equity Investment platform. In this role, he is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships across the company, including oversight of the affiliate marketing channel. Previously, he served as a Sr. Manager of Product Design at Fannie Mae and Director of Secondary and Capital Markets at the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Tobias Moon counsels financial services companies, from startups to the country’s largest financial institutions, on commercial lending, regulatory, compliance, and product innovation issues. Tobias advises depository institutions on building, reviewing, and auditing compliance management systems to minimize risks associated with consumer and commercial financial products, including mortgage, automotive, and personal loans, equipment finance loans and leases, and loans secured by commercial real estate. Tobias also has extensive experience helping fintechs, marketplace lenders, and small-dollar lenders establish compliance management systems to address the regulatory issues impacting design and delivery of new financial services products.
