Kevin Fagan is a senior director and Head of CRE Economic Analysis at Moody’s Analytics, responsible for research, thought leadership and strategic initiatives for the MA CRE group, with a focus on climate risk and ESG. He was formerly director of research in the Moody’s Investors Service CMBS team for ten years. Prior to joining Moody’s Analytics, Fagan held CRE research roles at ING Clarion and Jones Lang LaSalle. He also practiced as a structural engineer, designing large scale commercial buildings in California. He holds an M.S. in commercial real estate development and finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. in architectural engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

J. Christopher Hoeffel is President and Chief Operating Officer of Counterpointe Sustainable Advisors, a leading manager of sustainable commercial real estate debt investments including CPACE, green mortgage and energy project finance. Mr. Hoeffel was most recently Co-Founder and President of CoreVest, the leading private lender to residential investors nationwide. Mr. Hoeffel was previously a Managing Director at Investcorp, where he was Head of Real Estate Debt Investments and Head of Investment Operations and Investor Relations for Real Estate and Corporate Investments in the US and Europe. Mr. Hoeffel joined Investcorp from JP Morgan / Bear Stearns and Co. where he was a Senior Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Commercial Mortgages and founder of a leading Wall Street lending operation in the US, Europe and Japan. He had previous positions at Eastdil Realty, Chemical Bank and the mortgage banking firm Walker and Dunlop. Mr. Hoeffel is a former President of the Commercial Mortgage Securities Association (now CREFC) and serves on its Board of Governors. He has also held leadership positions at the Mortgage Bankers Association and was a member of the Real Estate Roundtable. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
Cory is Senior Director, Originations, overseeing Nuveen Green Capital’s West Coast originations efforts in California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Montana. Prior to joining Nuveen Green Capital, Cory was with Bank OZK (formerly Bank of the Ozarks), where he spent eight years as a team leader on the West Coast, originating over $6B of construction, bridge, and note financing for the commercial real estate market. In addition to being a top originator, Cory was selected to lead the Bank OZK associate training program, where training and mentoring commercial real estate professionals became a passion of his. Cory also has lending experience from CIT and Arab Jordan Investment Bank, and he has accumulated over $7B in real estate transaction experience over the course of his career. Cory received his bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of California, San Diego.
