Christine Chandler is the 2025 MBA Chair-Elect. Christine Chandler has been with M and T since 1991 and has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience. As COO/CCO, Chandler has been responsible for making credit decisions for M and T Realty Capital Corporation (RCC) multifamily and healthcare transactions underwritten in the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (Agency) and FHA platforms as well as managing the company operations. In addition, the Asset Management Group and Transformation Team, including technology and process improvement, report to Chandler. She serves on both the MBA Audit and DEI committees; former Chair of the MBA Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Board of Governors (COMBOG) and former co-Chair - MBA Affordable Rental Housing Advisory Committee.

Jeff Majewski is Executive Managing Director for CBRE Capital Markets. CBRE Capital Markets is the commercial mortgage banking and investment sales division for CBRE, Inc. Majewski has extensive experience in the origination, structuring, placement, closing and servicing of commercial real estate debt for life insurance companies, pension funds, Agencies and Wall Street sources. During his 30+ years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Majewski has worked in every aspect of the commercial real estate finance business, from loan originations to loan servicing, asset management and lender and client development, as well as the detailed day-to-day operations of running the business. In addition, he has extensive experience in Mergers and Acquisitions and the subsequent integration of the acquired operations, people and systems. In his current role, Majewski interacts with the various teams supporting the mortgage banking vertical at CBRE, including H/R, Finance, Technology, Marketing, Events, Operations, Loan Closing, Asset Management and Talent Development. Annual loan origination volume for the Capital Markets was $45B in 2024.
Hilary Provinse is Executive Vice President – Production and Capital Markets and a member of Berkadia’s Management Committee. In this role, Ms. Provinse oversees more than 380 experienced mortgage bankers, investment sales advisors and their teams located in more than 70 offices across the U.S. who serve clients across all multifamily and commercial real estate channels. Ms. Provinse manages Berkadia’s capital markets relationships and ensures that clients benefit from our market leadership and deep relationships with diverse capital sources, including Berkadia’s 31 life company correspondents, banks, CMBS, debt funds, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA / HUD. In 2024, Berkadia’s combined production volume exceeded $39 billion, of which $25 billion was attributed to the mortgage banking division. Berkadia was ranked the #1 Freddie Mac Lender by Volume and the #2 Fannie Mae DUS Lender by Volume in 2024. Previously, Ms. Provinse was SVP and Head of Customer Engagement at Fannie Mae, where she managed the team responsible for all of Fannie Mae’s production activities and customer relationships – overseeing more than $100 billion of production during her tenure. Prior to joining Fannie Mae in 2003, Ms. Provinse spent 10 years on Wall Street in investment banking, working for Goldman Sach and Co. and Bear Stearns and Co. Ms. Provinse has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG), a board member of The Beach Company, Chair of the ULI Multifamily Green Council, and a member of the International Women’s Forum.
Wally is a Senior Managing Director in the Houston office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas and co-leader of the firm’s national debt business line. He joined JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and specializes in income producing properties and has transacted in most states. Wally started his career at HFF in 1996, where he learned the value of lending relationships. Wally has extensive experience in arranging equity joint ventures, loan sales, and other equity placement transactions.
