Mr. Harrison is the Chief Operating Officer at Midland Loan Services. In this role, his primary focus is providing leadership, management, and strategic vision to ensure that Midland has the best team members, technology, and operational procedures in place, in support of the company’s goal of always providing a best-in-class experience for its customers. David has a broad background in commercial real estate, including capital markets, asset management, underwriting, workouts, business development and client relations. David is currently a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council’s Board of Governors, Executive Committee, and the chair of the Programming Committee. Mr. Harrison received a BS in Political Science and a Minor in Economics from the University of Houston in 1997.

Kristie Alvelo is currently Senior Vice President, Servicing and is responsible for managing the Special Request Department, which processes Borrower consent matters for various product types, including GSE, CMBS/CLO, HUD, and balance sheet lenders. Prior to joining the Special Request Department in 2005, Ms. Alvelo held administrative and staff positions for Berkadia’s predecessors and its subsidiaries, GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp., Capmark Finance Inc., and MortgageRamp. Ms. Alvelo was also a residential Property Manager for a Northeast based real estate investment company. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2007. Ms. Alvelo obtained a CMS Level II Certificate from Mortgage Bankers Association, and she is an MBA Future Leaders Alumni.
Mike has been active in the commercial real estate finance and investment industry for more than 30 years. He currently oversees StanCorp Mortgage Investors’ origination, servicing and participation programs, as well as all commercial real estate debt and equity investments for Standard Insurance Company/The Standard. Mr. Morey is a past Chairman and Emeritus member of the of the Portland State University Center for Real Estate Advisory Board. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
Mr. Tanner joined PSRS in 2003 and currently holds the title of President and Principal. Mr. Tanner attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics. During his time with PSRS, Mr. Tanner has worked as an analyst and gone into production on his own, and in 2006, he was awarded Rookie of the Year by Standard Insurance. In his spare time, Mr. Tanner enjoys surfing and scuba diving, playing the upright bass in a jazz orchestra, and spending time with his wife and three children. Mr. Tanner is affiliated with the ICSC, the MBA, and he is a part of the lay clergy at his church.
Heather Wright helps a broad variety of clients identify operational risks and determine business solutions to mitigate those risks, with a particular focus on advising clients about risk management through insurance. She provides regulatory and compliance advice to lenders regarding compliance with, and alleged violations of, security agreements and other contracts in matters involving property insurance and flood insurance. In addition, she represents commercial property owners and managers, as well as real estate developers and general contractors, in the negotiation of insurance provisions in sales contracts, debt service agreements, leases, management agreements and construction contracts.
