Molly Skipper Steele is the Head of Strategic Growth for Apprise by Walker & Dunlop. In her role, she provides strategic direction for the commercial valuation team and focuses on serving the needs of attorneys, banks, investment trusts, and other institutional firms. An appraiser by trade, Ms. Skipper Steele works to build long-term relationships that help develop a comprehensive picture of client real estate requirements. In addition, Ms. Skipper Steele leads the firm’s national sales team and focuses on developing strategic relationships that expand the company’s visibility and success. She and her team build trust with clients by counseling them on internal processes regardless of immediate opportunities and use the information they gather through this process to develop products and services to meet new needs. Ms. Skipper Steele is an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), CHIEF, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and previously served a three-year term as a member of the Board of Directors for the Appraisal Institute’s Metro D.C. chapter. In 2018, she received the William T. Anglyn Award from the Appraisal Institute’s Leadership Development and Advisory Council for exemplary leadership, integrity, and outstanding contributions and is a 2023 LDAC Discussion Leader. Ms. Skipper Steele holds a master’s degree in real estate from Georgetown University.

James Gaffney joined Newmark in 2017 and currently serves as Senior Managing Director, Head of Servicing & Asset Management, in the company’s Lower Gwynedd, Pennsylvania office. James has a diverse industry background with over 27 years of experience in Asset Management, Servicing Operations, Offshore platform development, Project Management, and Process Improvements. James has experience with many portfolio types including Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Life Company, CMBS, Construction, and HUD.
Brian Pounds, Vice President - Senior Manager – Portfolio & Asset Management, is responsible for overseeing the team handling all asset management responsibilities for a portfolio of commercial mortgage loans in excess of $76 billion of unpaid principal on behalf of 75+ Life Company lender relationships. Brian manages oversight of portfolio compliance with servicing agreements, loan documents and various lender requirements. Daily activities include client relationship management, oversight of credit and other asset management transactions, financial statement analysis, payoffs and reserve escrow administration. Brian joined Northmarq in 2014 as a Portfolio Analyst. Prior to Northmarq, Brian worked for Minneapolis commercial property developer, CSM Corporation.
Leslie Schultze has served as an Asset Management employee with JLL (previously Oak Grove Capital) for 13.5 years, starting as an Analyst and moving through different roles which led to serving as Senior Director of HUD Asset Management. While the first eight years were spent having mainly Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac portfolios, the past five and a half years have been solely dedicated to HUD. When not on the job, Leslie loves going to concerts, traveling, playing volleyball, and more recently, Orangetheory Fitness!
Michael A. Tilden is Senior Manager for KeyBank. His responsibilities include management and oversight of Keybank’s CMBS loan servicing portfolio. Michael brings over 22 years of experience in commercial real estate loan servicing. In addition to his work experience at Keybank, Michael has worked as a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase within their Commercial Term Lending group. He managed several servicing operations groups which included New Loan Setup, Tax and Insurance Escrow, Document Management and Reserves. Finally, Michael also worked at Standard and Poor’s Global Ratings as an Associate Director in the US Servicer Evaluations group. There he performed operational and statistical analysis for commercial loan servicers and published detailed servicer rating reports.
