How are warehouse lenders analyzing and assessing mortgage bankers these days, especially given the extended low-volume market of the past few years? This panel discusses variables affecting warehouse line terms and best ways for companies to leverage their warehouse relationships. The panel will also provide insights on financing MSRs and servicing advances, and what Washington can do to facilitate market liquidity.

David Bernard is Senior Managing Director of the Specialized Mortgage Services Group at Western Alliance Bank. His executive role encompasses overseeing traditional warehouse lines of credit, lines of credit to finance mortgage servicing rights, note financing, correspondent mortgage solutions and treasury management products and services. Western Alliance Bank and Mr. Bernard are based in Phoenix, AZ and serve clients throughout the US. Mr. Bernard is a top-producing mortgage banker with more than 30 years of professional experience in sales management and risk management. He joined Western Alliance in January 2014. Mr. Bernard is a member of the MBA and CMBA. He graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Marketing.

Charles Clark is Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the Structured Mortgage Finance division at EverBank, where he has led this group for the last 12 years. His team is responsible for a large mortgage warehouse lending portfolio and provides MSR and other liquidity for the mortgage banking industry. Clark has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, including lending, capital markets, MBS sales and trading. In addition to his 24 years in commercial banking, he has held positions at four leading investment banks, including Lehman Bros., Citicorp, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley. Clark is a leading voice in the mortgage industry and is a member of the executive steering committee of the MBA Warehouse Lenders Roundtable. He holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
Allyson Jackson serves as the Executive Vice President of Finance and Treasury at Planet Home Lending, where she has been instrumental in expanding funding capacity and driving financial growth across all business channels. With more than 15 years at the company, she has consistently delivered strategic initiatives that enhanced capital efficiency and optimized service delivery. Under her leadership, Planet's loan servicing portfolio grew to $109 billion and origination volume to $25 billion. Prior to joining Planet, Jackson gained extensive industry experience at KPMG, Freddie Mac, and Fieldstone Mortgage, focusing on treasury management, internal controls, financial reporting, and strategic growth.
Prateek Khokhar is Chief Financial Officer of American Pacific Mortgage. Prior to joining APM, Khokhar was the CFO of Mission Loans LLC, Civic Financial Services, and Supreme Lending. In these roles, he managed all company financial analyses, accounting, payroll, and treasury functions, implemented efficiency to accounting and financial processes, and strategized financial growth initiatives. Earlier, he was the CFO at Skyline Financial, where he led the spin-out of Cloudvirga to deliver on the promise of digital mortgage. Prateek was recently recognized by National Mortgage Professional Magazine as one of the top 40 most influential mortgage professionals under age 40. Khokhar has been a panel speaker at several MBA conferences on topics ranging from maximizing profitability to creating sustainable operations through technology and software automation.
