Planet Home Lending, Senior Vice President of Quality Control, Helen Law’s more than 30 years of expertise spans correspondent, retail, and retention originations. As the former Chair of MBA’s Risk Committee, she's renowned for creating robust quality control and compliance programs, streamlining processes, elevating customer experience, and mitigating fraud. She earned her B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Tim Cooper currently serves as the Manager of Digital Practice at Falcon Capital Advisors. Prior to joining Falcon Capital Advisors, he served as Project Manager and Agile Journey Owner at U.S. Bank Home Mortgage leading the implementation for their eMortgage Program. Cooper managed various Digital Transformation projects that included implementing an online application portal and eSign and eDelivery of mortgage loan disclosures. He has engaged with customers embarking on their eMortgage Journey to advise and provide subject matter expertise to assist with their implementation efforts.
Jason Emory joined PrimeLending in July 2013 and is Senior Vice President of Quality Control. He is responsible for all quality control requirements, origination through servicing, and loss prevention, which includes fraud investigations and agency/investor deficiency notifications. Emory has more than 30 years in the mortgage industry and has held numerous management roles including compliance and quality control. Prior to joining PrimeLending, he spent 9 years with MetLife Home Loans/First Horizon Home Loans serving as Vice President of post-closing and custodian operations until transitioning to Director of Compliance and Quality Control. Emory spent the first 14 years of his career with Chase Home Loans managing in areas of servicing and post-closing. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree in marketing from University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Candace serves Senior Director of Loan Quality at Fannie Mae. Candace develops, implements, and monitors loan quality standards; evaluates the quality of loan deliveries; and oversees the effectiveness of lender quality control practices. This includes leading a team that works with Fannie Mae lenders focused on loan manufacturing controls, quality control practices, and quality results.
Amanda Phillips has two decades of experience in the financial services industry including holding executive roles in legal and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining ACES Quality Management, Mrs. Phillips was with the law firm Ballard Spahr, LLP where she advised clients on federal and state regulatory requirements governing mortgage lending, including business processes and practices, software, and mortgage documents. Prior to Ballard Spahr, she spent 6 years as in-house counsel/EVP of Legal and Regulatory Compliance for Mortgage Cadence and 5 years as SVP-Director of Compliance for a national mortgage lender. Prior to her roles in compliance, Mrs. Phillips worked in multiple roles on the business side ranging from file set-up and disclosures to processing and underwriting.
