Alfred Pitzner is a co-founder of Conforma Compliance Group, a practice providing regulatory management services to mortgage lenders. He leads the risk assessment, compliance strategy, CMS/CMP creation and cross-functional implementation for our clients. Having begun his career as an MLO, before moving to lead the compliance and litigation management function at one of the most established mortgage lenders and servicers in the Midwest, Pitzner has a deep understanding of business units, their concerns, and their needs. He built a compliance management system and program from the ground up at a time when the term CMS was new. Pitzner managed over 200 examinations conducted by HUD, VA, FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, OIG and various state banking departments from California to New York. He participated in over 100 mediations and settlement conferences, bringing the vast majority to successful resolutions. Pitzner also argued positions with the DOJ, HUD, GNMA, FNMA and FHMLC as well as in state and federal court. He brings a solid understanding of compliance related risk and a deep expertise in creating effective compliance solutions that create business value.

Andrew Glass is a partner at K&L Gates LLP. He advises businesses in achieving integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions to managing risk. Anthony Schweiger is the Managing Principal and CEO of The Tomorrow Group, a specialized consultancy focused on enterprise risk management and supporting strategic transformation in financial services and other complex businesses. He holds the Master Certified Mortgage Banker designation and has over 45 years of experience in managing and counseling companies. In addition to having been the CEO and COO/CFO of a large regional lending business, his business experience includes governance oversight, capital market management, risk management, technology, and strategic planning for a variety of service and technology businesses as well as chair roles for various MBA Committees. Schweiger was a founding director and Governance Chair of Radian Group, Inc., a NYSE-traded provider of private mortgage insurance and credit enhancement products and served on Radian’s Audit, Finance & Investment and Compensation Committees. He is currently a director and Board Chair of DVIRC, an economic development agency focused on supporting the growth and profitability of manufacturing in the greater Philadelphia metropolitan market and is an advisor for two development stage enterprises. His experience in creating and managing businesses in complex organizations has provided unique insight into the importance of managing risk to support enterprise success as well as successful career paths for individuals. Schweiger is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
David Shirk is the managing member of Shirk Law PLLC. He represents financial institutions, retail and wholesale mortgage bankers, lead generators, and software vendors. David advises innovating clients on state and federal regulatory compliance, licensing, originator compensation, and responding to exams or Bureau investigations. Prior to joining LotsteinLegal in 2011, which changed its name to Shirk Law in 2020, David spent 20 years in executive roles at mortgage companies. Including as functional architect of two loan origination systems at three top ten lenders. David is admitted to the bar in ten states. He holds a J.D. and an MBA.
