Commercial/Multifamily Technology Officers Roundtable

MBA's Technology Officers Roundtable brings together industry technology professionals from leading commercial and multifamily real estate finance firms. The group gathers for a roundtable meeting each fall and participates in MBA's Commercial/Multifamily Servicing and Technology Conference in the spring.

Information Security Workgroup

The Information Security Workgroup identifies and discusses evolving information security issues within the mortgage industry. The Workgroup provides advice to MBA on legislative and regulatory initiatives relating to cybersecurity topics.

Lender CIO Forum

The Lender CIO Forum provides an opportunity for the senior technology professional in lending/servicing organizations to communicate with peers in similar organizations on topics of mutual interest. Participation is limited to organizations that originate or service loans.

Residential Technology Forum (RESTECH)

The Residential Technology Forum (RESTECH) helps MBA members address technology issues facing the residential mortgage industry. RESTECH provides a forum for discussion of items of common interest to industry members. RESTECH identifies technological constraints that inhibit the industry and works towards common solutions. 

What do Forum participants do? Actually, they perform a number of functions. In conference calls, e-mails and in-person meetings, they discuss the impact of various initiatives (e.g. new regulations) on their companies as well as surfacing issues that might be adversely affecting their organization.

MISMO Standards

There are many ways to get involved with MISMO. A mostly volunteer organization, MISMO develops and maintains voluntary consensus industry standards for use across the entire residential and commercial real estate finance loan lifecycle.  

MISMO standards are available to everyone and used by mortgage lenders, investors in real estate finance and mortgages, servicers, regulators, industry vendors and other parties to efficiently, and securely, exchange quality information. Learn about the different ways to get involved in MISMO.
